Pop in Pop Culture: Friday the 13th Edition

April 13, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day throughout history and happens one to three times a year. In fact, Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was mildly superstitious hated Friday the thirteenth so much that he would never start an important trip on that day if he could help it. The popular film franchise, Friday the 13th, builds suspense and importance around this date because of the main character’s history and his murder sprees. Jason’s hockey mask has become one of the most recognizable images in horror and popular culture. Take a walk in Jason’s boots as we mix up two cocktails based on this horror classic and sample a murder-themed beer. End the night with Friday the 13th trivia for a chance to win slashing good prizes.
