Fire & Ice: Barrel Making + Ice Carving hosted by Fernet-Branca

Go inside the artisanal ice and barrel making world with two industry professionals!

Venture to the industrial workspace of Ice Sculpture Philly and Anthony Barrels for a behind-the-scenes look into the wonderful world of Fire & Ice. Peter Slavin of Fear No Ice and Ice Sculpture Philly will walk you through an ice carving demonstration to showcase his ice craft. Each attendee will get their turn to carve an ice glass that will be used to sample some refreshing Peroni.

Next we will move the party over to Philadelphia’s only cooperage in the same warehouse space. Ryan Ebner of Anthony Barrels will demonstrate the barrel making process from beginning until the charring of the barrel. This interactive tour will finish with a sampling of some Fernet-Branca offerings. The whole Fire & Ice adventure is sponsored by Fernet-Branca and free to USBG members or active industry professionals in the city and surrounding suburbs.
